SUPPLEMENTARY TU "INTERDISCIPLINARY PROJECT in digital health
The aim of the Interdisciplinary Project in Digital Health is to enable Master's students to work together in multidisciplinary teams, taking an unmet need in Digital Health as their starting point, to work on all the development phases of a Medical Device, from design to market launch.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Initial training
This additional teaching unit, included in the diploma supplement, is aimed at students in Masters 1 and 2 programs at the University of Montpellier. It is offered to students enrolled in the following Masters programs:
- Faculty of Medicine: Master of Health
- Faculty of Science: Master of Science and Digital Health (SNS)
- Faculty of Pharmacy: Master of Science in Pharmaceuticals and Health Products (SDMPS)
- STAPS: Master's degree in Adapted Physical Activity and Health (APA); Master's degree in Engineering and Ergonomics of Physical Activity (IEAP)
- IAE : Master Innovation

This learning-by-doing takes the form of tutorials: 1 h per week over the 2 semesters (distance learning) and time for discussion and work in small student groups.
Skills acquired
Master the multidisciplinary design of digital health devices, with a focus on scientific and technical, regulatory and legal aspects.
Each student applies and shares the scientific and technical skills of his or her discipline to a common project, and develops solid interdisciplinary skills as well as a spirit of initiative and autonomy.
Evaluation
Final inspection
Assessment will take the form of a dissertation and a final oral presentation.
