Launch of the "ESNbyUM" School of Digital Health at the University of Montpellier and its partners.
The University of Montpellier organized its official launch event for the Ecole de Santé Numérique, ESNbyUM with its partners on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine. The event, which featured prestigious speakers, was attended by over 120 participants.

The event was opened by Prof. Philippe Augé, President of the University of Montpellier, Prof. Agnès Fichard
Carroll, Vice-President in charge of Training and University Life at the University of Montpellier, Ms. Elodie Brun-Mandon, City Councillor in charge of Health, Prevention and the Fight against Addiction for the City of Montpellier, and Prof. Isabelle Laffont, Dean of the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine.
Pr Maurice Hayot then presented the ESNbyUM project. The presentation was followed by speeches from Prof. Vincent Lisowski, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences in Montpellier, on behalf of the health deans, from Ms. Emilie Barde, Director of Research and Innovation at Montpellier University Hospital, representing the members of the ESNbyUM Consortium, and from Mr. Matthieu Faure, representative of the Délégation Ministérielle du Numérique en Santé.
Then, we were honored to welcome Prof. Jacques Bringer, Honorary Dean of the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the French National Academy of Medicine, who gave us a fascinating talk: "Ethics, a vector of meaning and relevance in digital healthcare practices".
The event closed with two essential speeches: Mr André Guinvarch, President of France Assos Santé, who gave us the citizen's / patient's point of view, and Ms Léa Waldura, Vice-President in charge of NS at ANEPF, Association Nationale des Etudiants en Pharmacie de France, who gave us the student's point of view.
