Training the trainers in Digital Health" launch seminar

The launch seminar of the "Digital Health Training for Trainers", organized by the Digital Health School of the University of Montpellier and its partners, took place on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in the Anatomy Amphitheater of the Historic Building of the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine.

This seminar is part of a three-stage process:
- The face-to-face launch seminar
- Distance learning for the 5 blocks of skills in Digital Health
- The face-to-face wrap-up seminar, which will include the award ceremony for the Diplôme d'Établissement de l'Université de Montpellier.

Seminar objectives:
- Create a dynamic between trainers in the health and medico-social sectors
- Initiate an approach to training in Digital Health, sharing and interdisciplinary work
- Discover the various fields of Digital Health
- Plan for the rollout ofTU "Santé Numérique", scheduled for the start of the 2024 academic year

Agenda:
The event began with an opening speech by Professor Isabelle Laffont, Dean of the Montpellier-Nîmes Faculty of Medicine, followed by an introduction to the day by the President of the University of Montpellier, Professor Philippe Augé, the Vice-President in charge of Training and University Life, Professor Agnès Fichard-Carroll, the President of the Agence du Numérique en santé, Isabelle Adenot, and Professor Maurice Hayot, Director of ESNbyUM.

We were also fortunate to be able to discover the new national and regional strategic vision for Digital Health, thanks to contributions fromHela Ghariani, Delegate for Digital Health at the French Ministry of Health and Prevention, Marie-Christine Labes, Head of the e-health and digital transformations cluster at the Agence Régionale en Santé (ARS) and Julie Durand, Director of GRADeS e-santé Occitanie.

The appropriation session of the five blocks of competence in Digital Health took place in the form of a round table, testimonials, immersive role-playing, aninteractive workshop and Q&A games with the audience.

The event was a great success, with over 140 participants, including 110 future trainers.
