4 - Find a company

Professionalization contract

Thanks to ESNbyUM's collaboration with Polytech Montpellier, it is possible to benefit from a professionalization contract between Polytech Montpellier and a company for the DE Sécurité Numérique en Santé program.

The "contrat de professionnalisation" (professional training contract) is a work-study program in the final year of the engineering cycle, which forms part of the continuing education framework.

The division of the student's training between the school (Polytech Montpellier) and the company is defined by the specialization manager, in agreement with the company. Training at the school represents between 15 and 25% of the duration of the professionalization program.

  • Students undergoing initial training change their status and become employees of the host company. The duration of the professionalization contract is 12 months, but can be extended to 24 months.
  • For the student, the aim of the professionalisation contract is to acquire a professional qualification or to supplement initial training with an additional qualification with a view to gaining access to a specific position within the company. Beneficiaries aged between 16 and 25 are paid a percentage of the SMIC, depending on their age and level of training.
  • For the company, this contract provides a rapidly operational engineer trained in its methods. For certain hires, and within certain limits, the professionalization contract entitles the employer to an exemption from social security contributions.
